I am here to listen, help you grow into a happier, healthier person, and want you to look forward to coming to therapy.

Many of my interest areas relate to anxiety, including social anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, body-focused and repetitive behaviors. I am one of only a few clinicians in the area certified to treat OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention. I also work with the LGBTQ population and provide support before, during, and after gender-affirming transition. I love working with adults, adolescents, and women before, during, and after pregnancy to address their unique mental health needs.

I'm honored to have people entrust me with their care in the best and worst of times. I use only evidenced-based practices including feminist and Exposure-Based CBT, but also find humor goes a long way.

I am often told how down-to-earth I am and that people are pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they feel after just our first session. I really value a strong client-therapist relationship and include you in every decision from the beginning to the end of treatment.

Thanks! Message sent.

I'm here to help you bring some change to your life! We'll work together to help you achieve your goals. My areas of experience include treating trauma/PTSD, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, depression, and generalized anxiety. I am certified in Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD.

I have specialized training in supporting women through infertility, pregnancy and postpartum. I support members of the LGBTQ+ community to address unique treatment needs, including offering support through gender-affirming transitions. I also have experience treating PTSD for other special populations including veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers.

I bring a balance of evidence-based treatment strategies along with empathy to our sessions.  It is important to me to always try to be learning (and unlearning) to inform my sessions.  My approach to therapy is often based in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure techniques, and mindfulness.

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents individually and incorporating family/support systems into our sessions as well. Change can be scary, and it is also very liberating and I am honored to be a part of that process with my clients.

The struggles that bring people in therapy are myriad and each person’s situation is unique. As
such, my treatment philosophy is that our work together should be driven by your goals and
informed by your strengths.

My experience has focused largely around PTSD and anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, OCD, and social anxiety disorder. I also work with patients on eating disorders and body-focused repetitive behaviors such as trichotillomania.
I rely strongly on evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and
CBT-based therapy. Along with Jaclyn, I am one of a very small number of local therapists
trained in the use of Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD. I have experience working with
members of the LGBTQ+ community to address their needs, including support through
gender-affirming transitions and coping with stress related to homophobia and transphobia. I
also have experience working with spouses of military members/veterans and women who are
pregnant or postpartum and bring to bear personal as well as professional experience with
these particular life experiences.

I look forward to getting to know you and helping you navigate any of the challenges you carry with you. Although I am a big proponent of evidence-based treatments, I believe the core of any good therapeutic experience is a strong relationship and I hope to accomplish this through warmth, humor, and transparency.

Hello, and congratulations on taking that first step towards bettering your mental health!
I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2013, working in many different environments, with many different populations. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addictions, and tough life transitions.  I am certified in perinatal mental health, and have a passion for working with parents who might be struggling during the prenatal, perinatal, or postnatal phases.  I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma and/or abuse.
My counseling style is transparent, warm, and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach with clients is eclectic, and can combine various treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic principles. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
